Book a Tour Amsterdam didn’t begin with a business plan. It began with a simple act of care.
Years ago, Marc “Paap” Paping built a small boat so he could take his dear friend Ariane onto the water after illness made it difficult for her to move around the city. He didn’t spend months planning or analysing. He simply wanted to help someone he loved, and the canals offered a way to bring some joy back into her days.
People noticed them on the water. They waved, asked questions, and often wanted to join. What began as a private moment of friendship slowly became something others could experience too.
And really, that’s where the heart of this company was formed.
Our private small electric boat, a friendly skipper, and a route tailored to your pace. Perfect for couples, families, locals, and visiting friends.
Dogs are always welcome, with blankets and space to settle in on our dog-friendly canal cruise.
From the Light Festival to long summer evenings, we guide you through the city’s changing moods.
For hotel guests, events, or special occasions, we can arrange tailored pickup points depending on the canal rules.
