Zahlungskonditionen

  • Die Tour kann an Bord in bar oder mit Kreditkarte bezahlt werden.
  • Payment can be made beforehand via PayPal only when agreed upon via email.
  • We do not negotiate on set prices. All prices are confirmed by email for both web bookings and email bookings.
  • Dogs are always welcome onboard during private tours at no additional fee!

 


Deposit Policy

To secure your private tour, we require a deposit of either €20 or €50, depending on the type of booking. This deposit must be paid before the tour starts to confirm your reservation and is subject to the following terms:

  • Non-Refundable Deposit:

    • The deposit is non-refundable, even if you cancel or reschedule within the allowed cancellation window.
    • The deposit will be deducted from the total tour balance upon completion of your tour.
  • No-Show or Late Cancellation:

    • If you fail to show up for your tour or cancel less than 4 hours before the start time, you will lose (forfeit) your deposit. This means the deposit will not be refunded or applied toward future bookings.
    • Additionally, the remaining tour balance will be charged to your credit card, as your reserved time slot could have been offered to other guests.
  • Payment of the Remaining Balance:

    • The remaining balance must be paid on the day of the tour, either in cash or by credit card, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

By paying the deposit, you confirm your acceptance of these terms. If you have any questions about the deposit policy, please contact us before booking your tour.

 


Booking Process

We are happy to accept booking requests through the following channels:

  • Direct Bookings: Our preferred method for bookings.
  • Email: Send your booking request to ahoy@bookatour.amsterdam
  • Phone: Contact us at 0031 20 2101 256.
  • WhatsApp Business: Message us via our WhatsApp business account.

As a small business, we kindly ask that you keep in mind our limited resources when making booking inquiries. Direct bookings or email requests allow us to respond promptly and manage your reservation efficiently.

 


Booking Platform Agreements

At Rederij Paping, we value efficiency and seamless operations when working with booking platforms.

  • API Integration:

    • We strongly prefer an API connection for handling bookings. This ensures accurate availability, instant confirmations, and a smoother experience for both parties.
  • Manual Bookings:

    • If an API connection is not possible, manual bookings may be arranged. However, a service fee of €50 per booking will apply to cover the administrative costs of manual processing.

Bedingungen der Annullierung

We understand that plans can change. However, last-minute cancellations or rescheduling impact our ability to offer your reserved tour to other guests.

  • Cancellation Window:

    • Cancellations must be made at least 4 hours before the scheduled start time via phone or email.
    • Cancellations made within this time frame will receive a full refund, excluding the deposit.
  • Cancellations Within 4 Hours:

    • Cancellations made less than 4 hours before the scheduled tour time are non-refundable, and the deposit will be forfeited.
    • Rescheduling within 4 hours of the tour is only possible in exceptional circumstances (see below), is subject to availability, and may incur a €30 rescheduling fee.
  • Exceptional Circumstances:
    We recognize that emergencies can arise. Below is our approach to specific situations:

    1. Flight Delays or Cancellations

      • If your flight is delayed or canceled, please inform us immediately and provide documentation. We will attempt to reschedule your tour subject to availability. Refunds are not guaranteed.
    2. Illness or Medical Emergencies

      • If you or someone in your group falls ill or is hospitalized, please notify us as soon as possible. Refunds or rescheduling may be granted on a case-by-case basis, and documentation (e.g., a doctor’s note) may be required.
    3. Traffic Delays

      • Traffic is an unavoidable part of city life, and we encourage guests to plan accordingly. Refunds will not be issued for delays caused by traffic. Rescheduling may be possible at our discretion and subject to a €30 rescheduling fee.
    4. Influencer or Change of Preference

      • We appreciate that circumstances may change, but cancellations or rescheduling due to personal preferences (e.g., selecting a specific boat) will not be refunded or rescheduled.
  • Third-Party Bookings (e.g., Viator, Project Expedition, Get Your Guide):

    • If you booked your reservation through a third-party platform such as Viator, Project Expedition, or Get Your Guide, you must contact the platform directly to cancel or reschedule your tour. We are unable to process cancellations, refunds, or rescheduling for third-party bookings, as their policies and procedures apply.

 


Bedingungen für Verspätungen

Guests are required to arrive on time for their scheduled private tour. If you anticipate being late, we kindly request that you notify us as soon as possible at 0031 20 2101 256.

  • Late Notification:

    • If you notify us within 15 minutes after the scheduled start time, we will do our best to accommodate your delay. However, the tour will still end at the originally scheduled time to avoid disruption to other bookings.
    • If you fail to notify us within 15 minutes, the tour may be canceled, and no refund will be provided.
  • Traffic or Unexpected Delays (e.g., car or transportation issues):

    • We understand that delays happen. Please contact us immediately. While we will attempt to accommodate, rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur a €30 rescheduling fee.
  • No Contact:

    • If you fail to notify us and do not arrive within 15 minutes of the start time, your booking will be treated as a no-show, and the tour will be canceled. No refund or rescheduling will be offered.

 


No-Show Policy

Guests who fail to arrive for their tour and do not notify us in advance will be considered a no-show.

  • No refunds, rescheduling, or compensation will be provided for no-shows.
  • If you paid a deposit, your credit card will be charged for the remaining tour balance to cover the time slot that could have been offered to other guests.
  • Please contact us at 0031 20 2101 256 if you experience delays or cannot attend, so we can explore options to assist you.

 


Rescheduling Policy

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we strive to accommodate rescheduling requests whenever possible. However, rescheduling impacts our ability to plan and offer your reserved time slot to other guests.

  • Rescheduling Fee:

    • A €30 rescheduling fee applies to all rescheduling requests made less than 4 hours before the scheduled tour start time.
    • This fee must be paid before the new tour date is confirmed.
  • Rescheduling Availability:

    • Rescheduling is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
  • No-Show Rescheduling:

    • If you are considered a no-show (see No-Show Policy), rescheduling is not available, and the full tour price will be charged.

 


Bedingungen für die Änderung der Tour aufgrund von Wetterbedingungen

Our tours are rain or shine, meaning they will proceed regardless of weather conditions.

  • Amsterdam experiences a variety of weather, including rain, sleet, and snow. Our boats are equipped with a retractable roof, heated seats, and blankets upon request to ensure your comfort.
  • Cancellations due to weather will not be refunded, but rescheduling may be possible at our discretion, depending on availability.

 


Terms of this Website, Our Logo, and the Website’s Content

  • Please do not copy or use our website texts, pictures, or our logo for commercial purposes.
  • Our logo is a registered trademark, and unauthorized use is prohibited by law.
  • Guests’ privacy is respected at all times. Photos of our guests may not be used for private or commercial purposes without permission. If you are in the picture yourself, this is not a problem.
